I'm so ready to try my hand! I want to make some funky ones in fun colors and screenprinting and all that.

I picked up a pattern but I completely fogot which one. All I know is it looks very easy and comfortable and also easily changeable. If that doesn't work, I have quite a few that I can imitate.

Happy hoodie-ing!

Yay! Count me in! I found this really cute froggy fleece fabric at Hancock's last weekend for 50% off. I think it will make the perfect hoodie for my son! Grin

I've had a crazy idea brewing in my head lately and I think I might just be crazy enough to do it... a black and red PVC and cotton hoodie. The front panel, the back panel, the pocket outsides, the outside of the hood, and the top of the sleeves would be vinyl and the side panels, the undersides of the arms and the lining and cuffs and edges would be in cotton. Considering I have both black and red PVC, I might make one then another with inverted coloring.

I'm excited, really, since I've been living in my 4-5 year old Amy Brown hoodie from Hot Topic for two weeks straight (with a few washings in between) and I'm worried I won't have any left soon. Two are falling apart and have holes and the other is too thin for the cold North Dakota winter.

Usually, I post in Reconstructed Clothing, but this fits here, too, so I thought Why Not?
This is a lightweight hoodie I made about 10 minutes ago.
I liked the shirt, but it was too small, my tummy always showed.
I loved the lightweight fleece, and together, they are excellent!!

closeup of the pocket:

and lastly, me in it.  Its kinda tight.

Do you like it? Anyone?
