By the way, does anyone know where I might find some diaper pins with ducks or something cute like that on them?  I have no association right now with any little ones, so I have no idea where one gets their diaper supplies.   Cheesy

sometimes you can get them at wal-mart.  go to the baby section.  now head to the aisle where they have onsies and baby t-shirts and things. usually they keep the cloth diapers on the bottom shelf, not hanging but sitting there.  Thats where you will find diaper pins, if they have any.  otherwise try craft stores.  i doubt their baby-safeness, but they would be ok for decorative purposes.

I love the idea of using stitch holders, btw.  they come in so many neato metallic colors...anyway i was just thinking about how to go about doing this and i thought it might look awesome if you put a grommet on either side to stick them through.  bold and funky!

I am withdrawing from this sewalong, no matter how hard I tired and how much I yelled at it I just couldn't get the hoodie right.
I feel pretty dumb Cry
I may tackle it again later but for now it has been stuffed into a bag and hidden away where it can't torment me anymore! Wink

I've kinda gotten over my big sulk (quitting smoking made me crazy for a while I think Roll Eyes) and want to try again. I got a new pattern and had my boyfirends sister who is a dressmaker alter the pattern I had to fit together a bit better and I got about 6 metres of nifty fabric for 50cents the other day.
I have no plans for the week so I'm going to try again.  Smiley

I am in the middle of cutting up two old, oversized Depeche Mode shirts and sewing them onto two hoodies for a friend and I for the Houston concert. (Holy running sentence!)  I am doing this all by hand, since my el cheapo machine doesn't have cross stitching.  Plus, I've goofed up a purse with a Bowie shirt already and don't trust myself.  Wish me luck, ladies!

YAY!  I'm done!  thank goodness, too.  for me, it was a challenging pattern (my first non-"easy-to-sew" pattern).  pics will be up when i can get them.
