The Fab Four are hotter than ever (well, almost)! As Sir Paul McCartney kicks off his US Tour this weekend, we shall also kick off the official Craftster Beatles Swap.

Craft or repurpose two or three good-sized items (or four or five small ones, depending on your ability to do so) based upon your partner's preferences (if possible) for favorite Beatle, album, song, movie, or Beatle "phase." The possibilities are endless. See below.

crazy! you'd think there would have been several rounds of beatle swaps by now. unfortunately i won't be in for this . . . maybe round 2. i know you'll all have fab crafts and i'll wish i had joined.

I'd join but my first craftster swap is still on it's way to both recipents. . .

LOL, when we started 1st grade each of my sibblings got their first alarmclock with a radio.  Could not decide which station to liten to and then I heard "yesterday" playing and since it was a song from "The Last Unicorn"  (my favorite movie at the time) it stayed on the oldies station for about 10 years. . .my first personal CD was Beatles Anthology: 1 when it came out 10 years ago. . .at Costco

Lucy - I sent you my info. BUT I just realized that on 9/25 I will be just 4 days short of being officially registered here for a month.     I lurked for so long before joining that it feels like I've been here for years!  I have more than enough posts.....

I'll sing for you if you let me join....Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies....

I don't want to break any rules, because I know they are pretty strict with swapping - and I totally understand the reasons why.  I'm just such a huge Beatles fan I'd hate to miss out on this one!

i would love to swap, but i'm involved in too many right now. it would have to be pushed at least 2 weeks for me to join. but don't extend just for me. it could be a nice intimate swap with only a few people, and once people see the goodies in the gallery they'd be all excited for round 2. good luck.

Hmmm... It's weird - I thought a Bealtes swap would be very popular based on all the Beatle craft projects I've seen! There's got to be a few more people who want/are able to participate!

I would, but I just joined yesterday (after a wee (read very much not wee) bit of lurking) So I REALLY don't meet the requirements.  If anyone wants to know how I made glovey doveys for my best friend in high school, feel free to PM me.

just do a seach on beatles and it will bring up loads of threads on Beatles projects - very nice

I just PM'd to join - my first swap but I knew I had to do this one!  Gah, I have been in love with The Beatles forever and a day.  I keep trying to talk my boyfriend (who likes The Beatles well enough, but is not obsessed with them like I am) into having a Beatles Anthology Weekend, where we just watch the whole thing on DVD straight through (in our pajamas of course).  I think we've decided to wait until it's colder outside and we can hunker down under some blankets with a fire going to watch it.  Then I'm also going to force him to watch Hard Day's Night, Help! and Yellow Submarine.  It will be the best weekend ever in my opinion.

Shoot, that sounds like fun. I was ambitious like that once and I got as far as watching AHDN and Help! consecutively, but I think I fell asleep toward the end of Help!. Ah well, that's old age creeping up on me...
