I'm looking for a crocheted circle coat pattern.  Can anyone help?

Circle Coat... like those kind of jackets all the knitters are making?

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45597.0

It's fairly easy for crochet. Easier than the knitting method, probably. All you have to do is crochet a rectangle that measures the length from wrist to wrist (or where ever you want the sleeves to end) by the circumference of the arms. Then you sew that into a tube, leaveing open the part that fits across the back. From that, all you have to do is crochet around that opening as you would a circle. I hope you understand what I mean  Tongue

Thanks for getting back to me so quick!  That's not quite what I'm looking for. Maybe someone can figure it out and come up with a pattern. This is what it looks like.
   Thanks again!

Well, Cherry Tree Hill Yarns had this pattern as one of their freebies a couple years back.  You can buy it for $5 though.

The shruggy thing LilMissPink is talking about ends up looking just about like that, if you keep crocheting around the opening, after you sew up the sleeve part.
I think starting with a rectangle ends up looking better, no giant circle on your back.

I am selling a pattern almost exactly like this that I just wrote. Worked in sport weight yarn instead of a thin yarn like my pic it looks just like that jacket but shaped a little better  Grin
