My partner got her things, so I'm going to post up some pictures!  Hope you liked it, sleepywalkin!


Kind of hard to see, but there's a recipe for a drink called Leaving Las Vegas--very very tasty!  The CD, some Vegas post cards, Las Vegas charms, and my personal favorite--the scarf and mittens set with appliqued heart, diamond, spade, and club on it!  Hopefully I can see an action shot of it at work in cold cold Philly!


Here are the close up of the charms, I'm not good in the jewelry area, but thought they would make cute earrings!


I made a vegas mix cd--There's a pretty funky collage behind it... I love how "Totally Nude" seems to stand out the most.  Here's the playlist:

Oh here's the drink recipe!  For anyone over 21 who's interested! 
1 oz triple sec
1 oz vodka
1 oz light rum
1 oz gin
lemonade
2 tbsp sugar
1 splash Sprite

Pour triple sec, vodka, rum and gin into a highball glass. Fill with lemonade, and sweeten to taste. Add a splash of sprite, stir, garnish a twist of lemon, and serve.

Top is a cute purse. Unfortunately the mailman did not heed the do not bend label on your package and one of the snowflakes broke. It's  ok though if I can't fix it I'll just take out the thread and it'll still be awesome! Under that is the book of Mormon and the wayward snowflake and next to that is a handmade post card book. It's stunning I'm so jealous of your skills. Under that is the 3 page letter she sent explaining things about herself and salt lake. and strewn about are the very delicious and oft stolen Taffy's. I had my whole family taste and we all agree, definitely better than the ones from Atlantic City.

i got my parcel today!!!

i was walking home, completley miserable as it was STILL raining, i was soaked through and i had a 3hour lab to look forward to that afternoon....and what did i find on my doorstep?

my parcel from starpiste! all the way from Vancouver, Canada!



it totally made my day!
so here's what i got:
- a polar fleece scarf (apparently the polar fleece stuff is made from recycled pop bottles and car tires - its super cool i love the colour)
-HEMP lip protector (starpiste must be psychic as my lips have been really chapped from the evil cold/flu i had, so this is just the thing!)
-Vancouver shot glass
-stand tall postcard and 5 other postcards showing Vancouver
-Chopsticks - they're really pretty and i've already worn them as hair sticks!
-a crochet hook - im really excited about learning to crochet now
-menu and recipes from Kalin's favourite thai restaurant
-a litttle book of cutouts from the local alt-news and entertainment paper ' Best of Vancouver' issue, with kalin's notes and annotations - its a really cool way to learn about vancouver,
- a Cd of the music of vancouver - im listening to it right this moment!

Ooooo love the Vegas package.

So let me publicly announce that plucky0_18, you will be getting two swap packages.  And not just because you're special, even though you are   I wasn't able to make the mix CD I wanted to make since my home computer was crashed by my boyfriend while he tried to download a Star Wars game.  Without paying for it.  What can I say, he's pretty.
So, once I get that back in a week or so, you'll be getting that CD and a little something I forgot to add to the first one.
