I know- the crazy thing is that in Japan the mothers there actually take the time to make their kids lunches (and their husbands too, I believe) like that everyday!!! Well, that's what I read anyway. Can you imagine? Somehow that seems kinda 1950's housewifey to me.. lol!

Yeah, I've heard of that too!  If someone did that for me, I'd have a hard time eating my lunch...because I would want to preserve the food art Tongue  I've noticed that the food presentation is usually superb at good Japanese restaurants.

i read an article about these in my anthropology class. it was very interesting..  moms of nursery school kids spend hours on the lunch boxes and make everything so neat and petite and easy to eat... the article said that the moms spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about how good of a job they do making them.

WHAT.
ok this is weird but I swear the guy who has that site was an ex-substitute teacher of mine who is now living in china or something.  he always made me get math and he was so geeky and cool, in the way that he was not at all cool, you know?

...I JUST LOOKED AND YES IT IS.
WEIRD.

I've come to read you the stuff from my father's book, that we're hoping to get a publisher for. It's called the holy biblee. We may change the pronunciation on that. But we think a biblee is what people should have.
