I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right place, but I really need help fast!

I need to create a program/handout for a surprise party I'm throwing for my parents on Saturday.  I have tonight only to create the original on my computer and then I have limited time tomorrow to take them to a copy shop and have them reproduced.

I have Photoshop and Pagemaker.  Can anyone walk me through a simple and easy way to make this happen?  I'd like to stick with a standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper folded in half lengthwise with a photo and some text on the front and then both sides of the inside will have text.  I'm somewhat familiar with Photoshop, but I have NO clue what I'm doing with Pagemaker.

Anyone?  Thanks ahead of time!!!

Do you have Microsoft Word? That's what i'd use. Photoshop is wonderful for creating graphics, but not so great for what you're trying to do. I've never heard of Pagemaker.

I have Word, but I'm really not so sure I know how to make a template for a folded sheet of paper.  Maybe I'm just flustered?

word does have templates available for wedding ceremony type events.
i dont know what version of word you have, but here's how to get a template
File, new should bring up a menu on the right or a new window and look for an option saying template.  if its a box on the right, type "Program" in the search box and select on the templates.  they are all customizable and you should be able to figure it out.  good luck!

Haylie:  I'm looking for option A in your diagram.  If you're on later, I'd really appreciate the help!

GeekMagnet: Thanks for your help.  I'm still confused though.  When I select New, I get a new window and at the bottom right corner I have the option to select Document or Template.  If I select Template, nothing happens.  There's no search box to look for templates.  I really suck at this!

My computer-guy husband will be home in about a half hour.  he should be able to help.  I just wanted to finish before he got home from a long day.

Thanks everyone!

I'm all set, thanks!  The hubby came home last night and although we were up until about 11:00, we managed to finish.  We wound up using Pagemaker, which I swore I would never use again.  I hated it!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who offered help!  I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate all of you!
