Emilu-your necklace came out great and  you were very thrifty on finding new uses for the materials:)

I also wanted to post that these would look great as purse handles as well-I think I'll try that next....

Hey , I have made these before and I used marbels and istead of beads on the outside i just tied knots.

I've just been to spotlight and bought really cute fabric and beads only to remember I don't have a sewing machine, thread and needle... anything... to sew the tube with. I do however have glue, I did a quick google search and found this tute. I know that it'll be a completely different look but thought you might be interested in another approach to the fabric covered bead. I'll let you know how I go Smiley
