My mom bought a bunch of felt for me to make pin cushions, and over the years I've forgotten how to make them. So instead I got to searching in my laundry room and found some of that stitch witchery or whatever it's called. I decided to make some sort of bag out of the felt, and this is the best I could do in the amount of time I had.

They come in handy, and would be a cheap gift for a young girl or even someone older.  Wink

These are cute! They'd be really cute to make and just use to hold some money to give as a gift with it. I can never figure out what to get people, but I like making things so that would work out nicely, then they could use the pouch for whatever they want.

I saw some envelopes made of felt with christmasy designs on them for $15 a set of 12 at Oriental Trading Company.  These could be reworked in red and green with christmas decorations on them and used for gift certificates and hard to wrap smaller gifts.  Then they could be reused next year, too.   I was just wondering yesterday how I could go about copying those things....

The butterflies is my fave.  Cheesy

bigeyes, you could probably make them like this, either sew or use what I did. That is a really good idea, I might have to try that. Thnx!  Cool

I'm trying to sell these on ebay, but I doubt they'll sell. I can always try. I need money, poor college student here.  Embarrassed

I like the felt...uh Hand Bags (hihi)
But indeed, add a little lining and they would already look a bit more 'finished'.
(and maybe sell better on ebay too!)

Good luck!
