Leah, I would be happy to be a swap angel. I haven't been a member that long and my first swap is in progress now. I am happy to say that I mailed out my quilt squares early. Cheesy I think it is terrible to receive and not give, or just not holding up your end of the bargin. I am afraid we may have one in the swap that I am in. Undecided  Let me know if I can help anyone out there.

I think the way this works is that organizers who need swap angels post on this board, and you look through it and if you find one you can do, you either reply to the thread or PM the organizer yourself.

Is that right?

I think so.  That's how I understood it.

I'd be happy to be an angel. I was in a swap and got flaked on and the organizer had to pick up the slack. Totally not fair, since I may not have been the only one. Just let me know. I'd be happy to help. d

Swap organizers who need angels for specific swaps post in this board, and you reply directly to them, either by PM or in the thread.  Generally volunteering, while sweet and generous (it still amazes me how nice so many people are here) doesn't do any good unless you know what swaps need angels, and the organizers know you exist.  So, d and juja, find a swap that needs you!   Grin

I think it would be nice if the swap could find us. We are willing to help, just ask us. d

That was the original idea, and it was discussed here, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51813.0, but I think the idea was dropped as being too hard to manage (what if you're asked but at that particular moment don't have the time, what if you're imposed on too many times, etc.), plus it might  make potential flakers feel less guilty about flaking if they knew there was a long list of eager volunteers somewhere.
