Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place record in oven on top of over safe bowl. Wait until it gets all floppy (between 5 and 10 minutes). Remove record from oven (with oven mits!). Place record into another bowl (or box, or pan, anything to give it shape). Let cool for a couple minutes and then remove from bowl (or whatever you used). Done! If you don't like it you and throw it back in the oven and start all over again.

The only supplies I need I already have in my kitchen. Some of my records were my dad's (my mom gave them to me when they serperated), some are from the thrift store and this one was from Hot Topic. It was super discounted and my boyfriend works there and therefor get's a pretty good discount on top of that.

mmm...HIM...
Do you paint them before or after? What kind of paint did you use, so you think regular acrylic would be ok?

(I just recently became obsessed with HIM, I actually went out and bought a CD of theres a few weeks ago, thats huge for me, to BUY a cd.)

Do you think that it would be okay to paint the record with acrylic paint before melting it?
Also, what kind of glue would you use to glue images onto the bowl..also before or after melting it?
