Soadchick-- thank you soooo much for posting the picture of your monogram cake toppers actually ON the cake Smiley  I've seen some in a similar style in girls' bios on a wedding website, but never actually on a cake, so it was hard to tell whether I would like them... yours look GORGEOUS Smiley  And thanks for linking to the instructions!!!!

Erilii,

I love your bridesmaids' dresses! where did you get them? What price? Your wedding looks so beautiful!

thank you chicky! it was lovely, i had the best time.
i got all the dresses made. i sketched out what i wanted on a bit of paper for my lovely dress maker, and she made it from there, with input from me about seam placements and the neckline and whatnot. her services were $120 aussie dollars per dress, and the fabric was around $75 worth per person (maybe, i cant remember how much it was. that figure seems a bit steep). i have SO much left over. we were meant to have a groomsgirl, but she faded out, plus the fabric shop gave me more than i needed. im going to have to make myself something. many somethings, i have so much left over.

Ok...you asked for it...

Here we are in all our glory...and yes, we got married inside of a giant windmill in the middle of the city.

I have one that shows the dress better but I can't find it at the moment...

Isn't that the Bevo mill?

Yup, that's Bevo...are you in StL?

Yup! What an awesome place to get married at! :]

It was a lot of fun...the inside is really cool. The food wasn't so great, but that's ok, we had a blast anyway.

soadchik - did you make the lolly's too?  What does the label say on them?  Your wedding was absolutely beautiful!  Looks like you had an amazing time and you two are so in love!

A couple of my Korean wedding pics. It was in a wedding plaza, so not crafty at all. It was a lot of fun though and so convenient to have people doing my hair and make-up for me. My biggest accomplishment was to have them keep my make-up somewhat understated so I didn't look like I was wearing a mask! Smiley

I got the suckers from an ebay seller  http://stores.ebay.com/Katies-Candy-World  They were super yummy!  I got them in clear and opaque colors/flavors in my wedding colors.  The labels on them just say the flavor and the ingredients.  This lady makes all of her candies from scratch.  They were like 50 cents for each sucker. and she got them to me really fast.  The suckers were a great hit!  and I liked having a favor that the kids at the reception would like...

One of best high school friends was married in Santa Cruz over the weekend.  It wasn't especially crafty, but very diy. Her friends and family chipped in and we all arranged flowers, decorated, cooked...whatever needed to be done.  It was a gorgeous wedding!
