Okay, my wedding was two years ago, but I just discovered Craftster and I did love my wedding, so I'm going to post anyway.  Grin

We were on a major budget, so it was a DIY extravaganza.  Our projects included:
-Invitations and other paper products (card box, table numbers, reserved seat cards for the ceremony, place cards, guest book)
-Flowers
-Reception Music (I love iTunes!)
-My veil
-My dress (well, semi-DIY - I designed it and hired a dressmaker to make it; I  don't trust my sewing skills enough to take on that big of a project!).

On to the pictures!

Coming down the aisle as husband and wife!

Waiting for guests to arrive at the reception (yup, I wore blue shoes; they matched the ribbon in my bouquet)

Our photographer is a photojournalist for the local paper - hiring a working photojournalist rather than a wedding photographer saved us a ton of money.  Thanks for looking!

also, i love your veil! I know thats an odd thing to be caught by, but i realy do. its lovely!

Very nice.  I like the simplicity of it.  Very elegant.

Thanks for all the kind comments!  It was a wonderful day (and marriage has been even better).

To answer goldfishhead's question, the reception was in a university's ballroom.  It was a simple space with light wood floors and white walls, but the building dated to the '20s and the room had the most gorgeous art deco stained glass windows.  They sold me on it instantly!

Sweets4ever, here are a few more veil pictures.  It was beyond simple to make (it's just a circle of tulle edged in lace and sewn to a comb) but I love how it came out.

I really like your veil too. You said it was a circle of tulle with a comb in it; did you just place the comb off center so it would be longer in the back?

Thanks for more pix!  Geezie...it's so pretty.  You do make it sound easy, but I'm not sure if I believe you yet. Cheesy
