thanks catsprefermarlie.  I promise to add pics of the cake too.  It was lopsided but it had the words of our song around it..

Sheva: I love your bridesmaids' dresses- but especially your wedding dress! the house in the photo reminds me of New Orleans (where i got married). Was your wedding in the south somewhere?

Thanks....I actually got married in Tucson Az. This is one of the old historical mansions that you can rent for weddings. As for my dress and Bridesmaid dresses they were very hard to come by. I wanted modest dresses and that just isn't in style nowadays. The bridesmaid dresses were two pieces and i had sleeves added to them and i made the belts. As for my dress i had to have a seamstress make me my dress from scratch i drew her what i wanted and she was amazing. It cost me so much less to buy the fabric myself and have someone make it, and i got exactly what i wanted.  Grin

Thanks!  I know we had black velvet roses and gerber daisies.  I picked based on color so I am not sure what some of them were.  I just went for really rich colors

Oooh, I just found this thread!

I've been married for a little over 2 months.  We decided, because we like to dress up, to wear "traditional" clothing, but everything else was far from it.  My husband's morning coat was almost 100 years old, and I found my dress on a thrift store floor.

All our (500+!) pics are here:

I haven't had time to pop in the DVD and upload individual pics yet.

YAY!
