I posted my crafties here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=275567.0... But I wanted to show off the non-crafty elements of our wedding too! Smiley

We ended up having two ceremonies and two receptions back to back two days in a row because our church doesn't allow non-members into the temple when couples get married, so we had a marriage ceremony the first day and a ring exchanging ceremony on the second day.

Day 1: Married in the temple!

I'm wearing a traditional vietnamese wedding dress here

Luncheon Reception
for church people & family (we had rehearsal right after)

It's a good thing we got to relax (sort of) that day, because the second day was CRAZY!!

Day 2: Ring exchange & philipino traditional ceremonies
This was the day that everyone who wasn't a part of our church got invited to

Getting my hair done did

Junior bridesmaids!  I'm soo happy with the way the headbands came out, everyone looks like a princess!

My favorite picture ever.  This is one of those moments that I couldn't believe we captured on film!!

My dad walking me up the aisle

The full wedding party!

So tiord

Ring Ceremony Reception:

A picture of what our reception restaurant looked like:

The cool part about a traditional Vietnamese reception is there are traditionally 4 clothing changes, one for when th guests come(generally the dress worn in the ceremony), one for when the food comes out and the bride and groom go and thank the guests table by table (traditional vietnamese clothes), one for the cake cutting (we didn't do this, but it's usually traditional chinese clothing), and one outfit at the very end for the dancing!!

I just got married a few weeks ago so we don't have pro pics yet but I just wanted to show off my dress. We did a destination wedding in Spain (got married here) so not much is handmade because I didn't want to haul it across the Atlantic.  I made my wedding dress with the New Look 6401 pattern it's all dupioni silk. I don't have a pic of the back yet but it is low cut with a sash and a small train.  I also altered my mom's veil from cathedral length with a blusher and huge bow to more simple chapel length.  What do you think?

Muffin Merge 08 was successful. And our feet are just touching the ground since. I hadn't put pictures here yet, but I'll keep it minimal and link to my post and the flickr.

hehe "Muffin Merge 08"--I love it! Congrats! Your veil is too too cute and I love the blue sash, it adds a nice pop of color to the dress.

I got my pictures from the photographer (my friend- a really craftster)!

It was a masquerade, so my favors were masks.  I made 160 masks, and my family and friends helped decorate them.

Table Decorations- Origami Lotuses, Table numbers and seating cards

Flower girl dresses

And while the guests were asked to come in costume, we knew some people wouldn't.  We supplied fake moustaches and fun glasses for those guests.

There are a lot of pics of our guests in costume here http://www.flickr.com/photos/dusty_fry/sets/72157608461170516/show/
