So it's baseball season, and my boyfriend is a HUGE Dodgers fan...
In an attempt to unite our hobbies, I started making team wrist cuffs!
He LOVES his Dodgers one:

And I grew up in an Oakland A's household:

I've also made a Boston Red Sox one for our friend:

Next stop: Chicago for the Cubs!

hey everyone...great projects....i am fairly new to knitting(just got my SnB last week!) and my go-go garter stitch scarf is well on it's way to completion...so i think that i have mastered the knit stitch, but i've been practicing purling in order to do the ribbed for her pleasure scarf and i just can't seem to grasp it! does anyone have any pointers or sites that can help me with purling?? thanks!!

I learned to cast-on, bind-off, and purl from this site: http://www.vogueknitting.com/tech/knit/knit.html

I think the pictures are pretty helpful. When I first tried to purl, I kept forgeting to bring the yarn to the front, and sometimes that first stitch can look like two. Good luck! I'm sure you'll master it.

I LOVE the opal yarn socks!!! I might just have to buy some of that yarn, knit those socks, and go psycho with glee! Cheesy If I ever do I'll post Grin O Man I still can't get those out of my head! If I make those socks I'm gonna end up wearing them in my casket!

And the stories they told you were true, babe. Your mom really went crazy. But that doesn't have to be you.
