My grandma bought Stitch N Bitch for herself, now I want a copy.  If I get it for Christmas I'm going to do a couple of dog sweaters, one for each dog.  Smiley

Wanted to share my first finished project out of Stitch 'n Bitch. It is a slight variation of the wrist cuffs. Instead of an image, I knitted an eyelet stitch row so that I could thread ribbon through it!!! Am pretty happy with the results.

I LOVE seeing all these cool projects that people have done.  I'm too lazy to do the big projects (but that Skully sweater looks awesome!!).  Here's my cat hat (done without ear flaps!)

And my cuffs and cell phone holders.  I found for some reason it worked best to use cotton with these:

Cape Mod Poncho!
[img]http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse.asp?selected=678208[img]

This photo is of my version of the Cape Mod poncho from the SnB Handbook. I used Lion brand Wool Ease Thick n Quick in Charcoal and Lion brand Fun Fur in Black. The Rowan Big Wool called for in the pattern was out of my price range. I also used 3 strands of Fun Fur tog because it gave a more furry result. I'm so happy with the way it turned out.

I've knitted scarves, mittens, hats, etc. so this is my first garment per se. I was a little intimidated at attempting the project, but I found the pattern simple and a lot of FUN. If you like the pattern I recommend trying it. If I can do it anyone can!

colorQ--I LOVE your cape mod!!  I've been wanting to try it myself but wasn't sure I'd be able to since I'm really new to knitting.  I may just have to try it now that I see how wonderful yours is!!  Thanks for the inspiration!!

AnnaMarie--Thanks! I think you should go for it!
If you need help, I'd be happy to help or you can post your questions for others. Right now, I'm knitting meema's marsupial tote and thanks to other craftsters posts about the project, I was able to understand about whether or not to repeat the RT (right twist stitch) at the stitch markers.
There's help available if you need it.
