Awesome idea! Does sound like a bit of a pain, but well worth it. You could even make seasonal ones with different colors and such. TFS!

I bought my stuff at JoAnn's. We have a GIGANTIC one here, so they have all supplies for tons of crafts, not just sewing.
The vanilla scent and the color were sold separately. They were also sold in JoAnn's, right above the soap. It was just a hunk of soap that you can melt and mold. Easy peasy.
