So my grandma gave my sister and I some camis that didnt fit her...and they certainly didnt fit my sister, mom or I...so some embroidery and cutting, little bit of slip-stitching and *poof* much cuter.  Grin

I apologize that the pix are so BIG!

front- i just freestyled it.


back- also freestyle, then slip-stitched the top and bottom of that part (I was gonna make it look like the bottom, but it has a built-in and i wanted to keep that...

haha, actually, i dont really know anything about embroidery...but i can backstitch and the stitch i used (which i believe is called silk stitch...maybe) is just like that only they connect...you could do it.

Very nice, I too am jealous of your embroidery skills.
I like your excecution of the tie-back idea - they often just seem to look messy, but yours is really pretty & neat and not too 'busy'.
