Are you using a pattern or free-styling it?

Usual measurements are: Bust, Waist, Hip, Neck to Waist

look here:  http://www.katedicey.co.uk/ and down the page on the right side is "the learning zone"  in there you will find a section on taking measurements.  it is an excellent method.  the lady who made this site is a professional.  I suggest anyone who loves to sew take a look at her site.  I always use her chart and I have never had any problems fitting anyone, as long as they wear the proper undergarments for the project at each fitting, including the measurement taking session.

lol thats not nice! not everyone is a web page designer (not even going to show you how I messed up a geocities page into something ugly).  yes, the info is good.  its her new site and not even half ready compared to her old one.
