Ok, so I've made a lot of crafts that I'm quite proud of, but I was never really motivated to post them on here for no reason other than I'm lazy. LOL HOWEVER, I'm so ruddy bloody proud of this, I HAD to post it. It's a Shaun of the Dead figurine!!!

I made him from polymer clay...started with the feet, added a large triangular lump for the legs and shaped them, added a torso, then the head, and lastly the arms.

His legs have one or two fine hairline fractures, but i've done some experiments, and the cracks won't move (open and close) when I wiggle him, so I'm positive it won't break.

The hardest part was sanding, since he has so many nooks and crannies. LOL He's for a Zombie Party I'm throwing - I'm going to glue him to a plank of wood, and glue a frame to the back of the wood with a poster from the movie (so it'll look like one of those bronzed baby shoe displays LOL) - the costume contest winner gets it as a trophy.

Any comments or criticisms are gladly accepted, I'm always open for improvement. And I'm in a good mood because my crush told me it was good enough to sell.  Grin

.he is bloody brillant.

:I have a few questions though:

-did you fire [or bake] him?  if so how thick was he and did this matter?-

-what brand of clay was this and how managable is it to work with as a medium?-

You've got red on you.

Awesome figure.  I absolutely love Shaun of the Dead.  It is one of the best living dead films to come around in years, and even acknowledges that it's not a zombie film.  And it's hillarious.
