I hope I'm paired up with a knitter/crocheter again.  (It was Lasandri for my last swap, haha)  My boy is such a wuss about our Florida winters, so of course I can think up a million toasty yarny things for him - but nothing I can make myself.   At least, that's how it always seems!

 Me too. I was kinda afraid no one would want a hat or other knitted thing for their special person and I'd be stuck trying to think of another crafty thing. Not that breaking out of my knitting streak would d be a bad thing, just a difficult thing.

ok, i finally gave in. my so is getting a bit suspicious already but i am attempting to keep it a secret. the bad part is that he knows my username on craftster, and i am automatically logged in on his compu. i told him that i was signing up for a new swap and when he asked what i choked and didn't come up with anything believable. . . so i hope it stays a secret.

some of you may be glad to hear that i am NOT a knitter . . . but he really doesn't have a need for anything knitted. we live in hot hot hot arizona

I'm not a knitter either, but I don't think my boy needs anything knitted 
Since I usually craft when he's home, I had to tell him I signed up for a swap. Told him it was a "general swap" where you just write down your likes and dislikes and see what you get ('cause that would explain whatever I'll be making once we're paired up - chosing a specific theme may be more dangerous )

i had said something like "you're gonna be mad at me if i tell you about this swap." am i an idiot or what?!?!?! melladh, i should have said exactly what you did. when he became suspicious i said . . . its a 6 month secret swap i promis i won't be this stupid when i am crafting for my partner

hehe.. im a nonknitter! And my boy would love a knitted hat! As long as its manly he says.. haha.. Theres no way  i could have kept all this a secret, but i think the anticipation will be exciting for him too.

Im gonna have to make sure i exercise self control, and not steal the items he recieves! hehe...
