OOT OOOOT!  I am working on this sweater right now, but i am just using worsted weight lily n creme cotton, so far i have the back done and am just starting on the front.  I am sort of just winging mine, its my first attempt at a non-baby sweater, and i am pretty excitied.  I am knitting mine on size 8 needles, and had to do all the math to get the number of stitches to cast on, and rows ect....  I will definetly post pics sometime soon, even if it is a total disaster!

oh, can you post your conversions to 8's on here?  I know the needle sizes are waaaay small (2 or 3), which made me not want to knit it even though it's so cute.

same here! i was all pumped about making it until i realized it would take me seven thousand years on account of the needle size! how exactly did you go about converting the pattern?

My version of the Peppermint Twist is nearly complete. All I have left is sewing up one of the side seams and the collar. I don't know if I've just looked at it too much, but I'm not wild about the colors anymore.  Maybe yourself in May can't handle the choices you make in January. It took me a while to get the seams sewed up right--until now I'd only sewn up some hats and a pair of two-needle mittens. Hopefully I'll have something wearable by tomorrow! Yay! First sweater!

Finished! It actually looks not so bad--not exactly loverly, but certainly not disastrous.

I'd say it fits, technically, but it is a little smaller than I would usually wear a sweater. I might actually wear it someday, but right now I'm content to snuggle up with it and be happy that I created clothing.   Grin

I like it! I think you should wear it with pride. If I could knit something like that I would.
