I was just wondering if any of you happen to have a mandolin stencil or know where I could get one. I'm going to a Nickel Creek concert in October, and I play mandolin so I'm going to make a shirt to wear the the concert. I would make one on my own but I can't find any good pictures online. Maybe I could take one of my own mandolin?

Did a quick google img search for mandolin:

Uh... it sorta looks like one! If you cut out the No Image bit. ^^

Good luck with everything!

Hey, thanks! I'll try it out and see what it turns out to look like.
I can never find what I am looking for on google. It hates me.  Embarrassed

Well, I'm having troubles.  Embarrassed

I thought if I took my time trying to cut it out, there wouldn't be any problems. It looked hard to start with, but I believed I could do it.
I ended up cutting the pegs all weird and yeah, I messed it up.
I might try again, because that's the only thing I messed up on.

This is like what I'm aiming for:
That does look sort of harder than you would think it would be, so maybe I should try something else out or just go ahead and buy the thing off of ebay.

edit: Can you see anything here?

I haven't used geocities in a while, so I probably uploaded wrong. But there's some stuff thre that might be useful. I Heart Clipart.

Did you find a stencil that worked?  I'd love to see pictures if it did!  Nice to see another Nickel Creek fan on here.  I was lucky enough to see them in December.  They always know how to put on an incredible show!  That design is sure to catch Chris' eye : )

I couldn't ever get the stencil to work the way I wanted it to, so sadly it didn't work.
I was up really late last night making a Nickel Creek shirt though. I don't have money to buy one of their website, and no one has any listed on ebay so I decided to make one. I freehanded the stencil because I didn't have any ink. It turned out better than I thought it would. I can't wait to wear it to school tomorrow.  Cheesy I'll post a picture of it soon!
