This idea might not be new, but I have been thinking it for a while... <can you hear the wheels turning LOL?>

Anyway I have SO many cool craft supplies from projects I stared but then got bored of, and it is such a waste to have them just sitting here. I have fabric, some beads, ribbons, jewelry wire, tons of yarns, cool magnet strips and glass marbles ~ you know, the usual crafter's treasure box LOL! Anyway I was thinking the other day "I wish I knew someone who could use this stuff, I wish we could swap supplies instead of crafts!"

So my proposed swap would go as follows:
When you join, you PM me with what you have to offer. I'll post one big list with all the offers, and everyone gets to pick one thing (or however it breaks down) they want... then, the swap would be an A --> B --> C swap as opposed to A <--> B since that'd be better for matching people up.

Does that make sense? Or, maybe there's a better way to do it... any thoughts?

Their is a swap going on right now called "Unconditional Swapper Swap" You should check it out. A lot of people are simply wishing for more craft supplies. I'd also check the classifieds, I wish they'd get used more. I'm sure some people would definetely be interested. Hope I helped.

I think jMi is running EXACTLY that idea right now Smiley or atleast very close to

"That's my lab table and this is my work-stool. And over there is my intergalactic spaceship! And here's where I keep assorted lengths of wire."

...oh, if it wasn't clear, I'm rarely completely serious. Smiley
