YUM. I'm going to have to make a run to Dunkin Doughnuts now! I have an uncle who would LOVE these. I don't know if I would have the patience for all the hand sewn things-- i'm sure that was very tedious work. So KUDOS to you my friend!

The sprinkle sewing is definitely tedious, but I also found it strangely therapeutic after a while.  I'd also do it while I was watching tv (which I rarely can justify doing), or while I was in the car (as a passenger of course!).  One tip for the sprinkles - I used Coats and Clark's clear nylon thread to sew on the beads.  It's marketed to be used for quilting, but I'd found it works great on felt projects because it just seems to disappear.

I'd love to see your donuts!  If you have the time and the means, please post a pic!   Smiley

those are so badass. I love them in the box. What kind of box are you using? Is it a real donught box? Very spiffy. <3

It's a real (unused, of course!) donut box from a local grocery store chain's bakery.  When it's closed up and they're peeping through the cellophane window in the top, it's hard to tell they're even made out of felt.   Grin
