Wow!  Those look great (and tastey.) What did you use for the "coconut?"

Your donuts are adorable, especially the one with white icing and confetti sprinkles.  I think I'll have to make some...and perhaps add vanilla or chocolate scents to them in the stuffing.  That way, they'll look and smell like real donuts  Grin

The coconut was actually just felt that I cut into tiny strips of various widths and lengths.  I purposely just tacked each little piece down with one or two stitches so that the ends could fly up haphazardly.  The coconut ones took a lot less time than the sprinkled ones.

OMG these are adorable.  Cheesy  I thought they were real.  Haha.

Well while I was working on them, I stored the finished ones in a big Ziploc baggie.  My husband thought they were real as well!  When he got up closer to them, I think he was a little disappointed that he couldn't eat them!  haha   Cheesy

Those are very cool! of all the felt donuts, i think i like yours the best. They look like handsewing them would take a long time to do! kudos to you!

Thanks for your kind words!  Without all of the other posts of felt donuts on Craftster, I never would have thought up making them in a million years.  Although they were really time consuming, they were a great little project to dabble in while watching tv, riding the exercise bike, etc.  (perfect for always too busy, multi-taskers like myself)   Smiley

My local Wal-Mart is the same way.  (And although I can't afford to not shop there, I believe that Wal-Mart is EVIL!)  Anyway, if Hobby Lobby exists in your area, I'd start there.  They have every color of felt imaginable and when I bought some a few weeks ago it was 7 sheets for $1.00, which I think might even be cheaper than at Wal-Mart and discount stores.  JoAnn Fabrics also has a nice selection, but it seems to vary every time I visit.  Good luck finding the colors you want!   Smiley
