I'm trying to organize a craft fair for teens this summer in Nanaimo, hopefully in swy-a-lana park. And have some local bands playing in the gazebo.

The catch would be 25% of all profits go towards free local shows for the teens and fun activities. It's time to make a change!

Anyways, this is just an idea but I'd love to make it happen! Would anyone be interested? I'm trying to look for people who make things to sell that aren't typical. One in a kind type things. The fun stuff!

I can help people out getting supplies. the recycling depot is a great place to support and get AWESOME deals. I can probably pick stuff up for people. They have tons of yards and fabrics. I'll sell them to you for intensely cheap. If anybody needs help, I'll do my very best for you!

I was thinking about having days during the summer where people will help each other out. Like if anybody needs help getting their inventory together than a group of us will come and help you. Maybe like days in the park or somethign where we'll sit around and craft. but if we help you, you have to help somebody else. I'm still debating on that though, it may get confusing.

I have about 7 people in up to now. Not much, I know, but word takes a while to get around (or else is takes too little time).

I'm thinking I should have like 2 craft fairs. Maybe one like every second weekend or something. I'm sure that'd be too hard to get bands for all those times. Maybe it won't be.

Anyways! Just keeping the information about this thang up to date.

Already I have a few bakers, sewers and knitters.
