this is my first purse ive made since my sewing machine broke  Cry. i had to sew it all by hand. it took probably about 3 hours.  any improvements i could make? something about it is bothering me but i dont know what. what do you think?

As far as improvement thoughts... did you use any sew-in interfacing? My only qualm from afar is it doen't seem very sturdy... like the pleating would be lost if you put things inside. Maybe it just looks that way.

that was quick! the band at the top has 2 layers of interfacing so it pretty sturdy. the rest of the bag has a thick layer of fleece inbetween the lining and outer fabric. when i put stuff in it does lose its shape so i guess the fleece did the trick.  Smiley
