This is my very first knitting project that is not a scarf or hat. The pattern is from loop-d-loop by teva durham. I bought the yarn intending to use it for the steek vest, but after doing several gauge swatches, realized that it didn't look quite right. However it was perfect for this project! So here I am proudly modeling my first finished garment!

Thanks everybody!

Haylie- the pattern is from loop-d-loop by Teva Durham. She has a website http://www.loop-d-loop.com/ with some pictures of the patterns from the book. There are so many patterns that I want to try, but most of them are much too complicated for me at this point.
