i started mine yesterday... im not sure if i'm doing it right though. as far as i can tell i'm doing everything right, but it looks like one big curve, or "scallop" with a little one underneath it on the needle. sorry, i can't think of a better way to explain it. does anyone know what i'm talking about?

i actually finished mine already -- it was a super quick knit.  and i will try to post pics soon.

the shawl ends up being a series of triangular wedges, like slices of pie (yes, i'm one of those people who compares everything to food!).  everything between the sets of asterisks makes one wedge, then you just keep repeating that over and over, so it forms a big circle with a hole in the middle (like a donut!).  i hope that's helpful.

i'm glad that helped!  and yes, there will be pictures soon.  i'm currently camera-less, but hopefully that situation will soon be remedied.

I am currently knitting this with Noro Blossom in color #5.  It seems very small but the pattern says to stretch it out.  Pictures soon.

i thought the same thing when i first cast on.  blocking does help a lot -- i didn't even stretch mine out with the pins like she says to, just blocked it like normal.
