I was interested in tapestry crochet after seeing a video on youtube.com
My little sister asked for a checkerboard hat in red and black. There was my chance to use tapestry crochet.... I'm excited about trying some real patterns like hearts and hippos but this was a good start...

Wow, That looks great!  I have been crocheting amigurumi fo awhile, I don't like to stick to normal crochet scarves, hats, doilies, etc...
I will have to try this next!  Thanks for the link

This turned out beautifully! I'm working on tapestry crochet in a baby blanket, so it's nice to see other people in the "real world" trying it out too! Cute sister Smiley

lol.... thanks... It's not really hard to learn. It's more about carrying yarn. My sisters are watching.... I glance at a few episodes but I like to listen to music or watch anime while crocheting.
