I recieved this weekend from broken_11 YAY! I LOVE the stuff--here it is--

I wore the earrings yesterday and got loads of compliments on them!


The bag already is filled with my stuff!


Here's me in the shirt--it has a vintage typewriter iron-on on the front! YAY!!


And the back shows off my tattoo perfectly!

I forgot what random names I gave your teas, but here is how I made them:

For the orange flavored tea (I think I caled this the Russian Sweet Tea):
    * 1/2 cup instant tea powder
    * 2 cups orange-flavored drink mix
    * 3 ounces lemonade-flavor drink powder
    * 3/4 cup white sugar
    * 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    * 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
    * 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
And then mix that together and put in a blender or food processor until it is a fine powder. I also usually use unsweetened tea poweder.

For the Chai tea (Deadly Night Shade):

    * 1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
    * 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
    * 1 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer
    * 2 1/2 cups white sugar
    * 1 1/2 cups unsweetened instant tea
    * 2 teaspoons ground ginger
    * 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    * 1 teaspoon ground cloves
And as with the other mix, put it in the blender or food processor. You can mess around with these measurments depending on how you like your tea.

Well, after MUCH anticipation, I finally
got my package from sleepywalkin today!

I love all of it!

Since my camera insists on holding a grudge
against me, I'll just list the contents:

1. 2 beautiful rockabilly-inspired embroidered patches
2. a lovely black beaded necklace (EGL)
3. my favorite- a lovely trinket box with roses and a
   portrait of a victorian-esque woman.
4. 3 awesome wristbands

I'm going by memory here, so I'm not sure if I
remembered it all.. but I believe that's all of it!

ok everyone, i have to go on a biz trip for about a week to windy chicago!  i will not have access to internet, so i won't be able to check my PMs or the board until probably next thurs or friday.  i'm sorry for the inconvenience.  when i get back, i will be checking if all the "late" people have sent.  also, i've held off on giving our two possible flakers negative feedback until i get back.  that gives them a whole week to contact me.  if by next week i haven't heard anything, i will be organizing swap angels, and sending something myself.

Munchie recieved my goodies and gave me the go-ahead to post the pics I took of the items.I haven't transferred the photos of the bag and the necklace onto my computer yet so they'll have to wait until tomorrow but here's the front and back cover of the mix CD I sent;





Unfortunately my colour printer's on the blink so Munchie only got black and white printouts for her CD
As you can probably guess the subculture I crafted for was Goth

I don't know what I've done with the pic I took of the bag,it's not on camera or my computer,so you'll all have to wait till Munchie has a spare moment to take and post a photo of it.Sorry!
Basically it was a large slouch bag made from a very soft black pleather with an exterior pocket made of a spider web printed velvet,which in turn was covered by a pleather flap that had a gothic cross cut into it that was backed by another piece of the spiderweb velvet.
