Very cute, Bronxie! What kind of winter jacket are you wearing it with?

The only thng I can think of right now is a peacoat.

Here's mine:

I finished about a week ago but had camera issues. I really wanted to make it in a deep red, but I needed to use up my stash. I have a black peacoat that will go great with it when winter comes. This was a fun pattern; I may make more!

Wow, somehow I missed this while looking through the latest edition of Knitty. You have all created such wonderful pieces that now I am ready to dig through my stash and find some yarn to knit this scarf up!

Thank you for your inspiration, I will post a photo when it is finished!

Here's mine, in leftover Caron Simply Soft. I might choose another button. I look a little pissy in the photo.

looks great. Im almost done with mine. I havent knitted the flower yet. Mine came out way thinner than yours or the picture on knitty. My sides rolled up badly. So youve given me motivation to block the scarf tonight and get started on the flower.

Everyone's 'Flora's' are quite smashing and lovely....wonderful inspirations in colors!  I also made a Flora (like ASAP when the pattern came out):

I only wish now that I would have made mine longer, as it's fairly short on the flower side....on another one perhaps?  This is a great stash-buster for certain!

There's more photos on my blog in a post from 9/10, fyi.

I need to blcok mine. Did anyone elses curl up real bad along the edges? Does anybody have any tips for blocking baby alpaca? Ive only blocked once before and I used the steam setting on my iron. Ive heard that sitting a damp towel on the piece overnight works best. Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm about 6 inches into this. I needed a quick knit to make for my Grandma for her birthday (she's turning 80 in two weeks!) and this seemed like a nice project. Hopefully she won't think it's TOO outrageous.  Cheesy

I also live in a place without a lot of decent yarn stores, so I'm knitting mine with Bernat Softee Chunky in a deep red colour. So far it's coming alright, but I can see that it might be prone to curling.
