I made these for a planned parenthood silent auction/fund raiser.  I'm happy with how they came out.  They were made with materials I had laying around the house (except for the planned parenthood t-shirts that planned parenthood donated to me to make the purses).  I hope they get a decent amount of money for the organization.  The one with the black plastic handles is gathered slightly, but you still can see the writing just fine.  Both of these purses are reverseable, because you don't always want to announce your politics to the world!  Smiley

medium sized purse with black plastic handles and handmade flower (which you can't see).  The fabric is a boucle type fabric with browns and purples:




large purse.  Its filled with books for the picture - Its not nearly so stiff, which is good!  This one has hot pink zig zag top stitching on the white side.




A long time ago, I made these for the march in dc, which is why planned parenthood asked me to do the above purses:

Those are so spiffy! I really like the blue one on the journal though, that's my favorite. My sister-in-law would love a bag like that, too.
