Leelee that's sucha pretty bag!

     Alrighty, the market bag is a pattern from a WONDERFUL book called "The New Macrame" by Katie Dumont. I picked it up at Books-A-Million last month, never seen it anywhere else, but anyhoo it is THEEE best $15 I have ever spent. There are so many projects and they are all beautiful. Many use materials other than hemp that you would not think to use for macrame otherwise.
    What I did for the poppy purse was just draw the design on a regular peice of paper then cut out sections and used them like a pattern on the felt. I think I just ended up freehanding the stems and leaves though. Don't remember if I tried to use transfer paper but that may be an easier method. I used a little spray adhesive on the back of the peices to keep them stuck on while I was sewing. It was really fun to make, now I wish I had joined the I <3 Felt Swap too lol  .

So somehow, stupidly, I put my home address in the questionaire, even though I started college on august 29. I was wondering why it took so long to be delivered within the same state, but turns out it went all the way to california instead. Anyway, my dad's sending it today, hopefully. Sorry for giving you the wrong address, pleca... I can't wait to see the purse!

oooh I got a message from Canada post that stripeysocks has received my bag. I sure hope she likes it.  I hope she will be able to show pictures for me since I don't have a camera or any way  to do it.

 Oh now the pressure is on I'll be sweating until she posts whether she likes it or not!   Geesh I didn't expect notification would make me feel like this!      Thanks Canada Post!
