What I ended up doing was on the edges, I took more magazing pages and covered them..I know that makes no sense, but I'm hoping to have pics of my bag up tonight if my camera doesn't let me down..
Thanks for the idea though, I'll probably use pink or blue duct tape on my next bag

this is too cute.

when i was in 6th grade, my best friend at the time used to weave magazine pages with crazy faces and whatnot to put in the clear plastic slots in the front of our binders... i thought she was crazy complusive then, but now it's becoming purses.  guess, she wasn't so crazy haha... just 10 years ahead of her time.

This is way cool - I think I want to try it with Chinese newspapers, maybe using black twill tape to define the edges... what do you think?
