I thought of another great craft for you...you take a pipecleaner (your daughter could bend it into any shape she likes) and pur it in a solution of borax and water and it "grows" little crystals...here i found a link: http://www.learnwhatsup.com/prc/holiday/christmas/crafts/borox_crystal_snowflake.html

Make a calendar for him, each month use her fingerprints to make a pictures for him and thena  claendar program off the comupter to print out claendar pages and make sure you have her birthday on there.

Some finger print ideas, I am doing this with my 3-4 year old preschool class, then laminating them

September- Paint or cut out of construction paper a tree and use her fingerprints as apples
Octocber- put both hands together dipped in Black paint and make a spider and use just the palms dipped in Orange paint to make pumpkins.
Novemeber- Paint her palm brown and fingers different colors and make turkeys
December- Do a reindeer foot for the face and hands for the antlers
January- Paint foot white and make a snowman out of it
Febuary take her thumbprints and do hearts all over page and write Thumbody loves you
March  paint palm yellow and put brown finger prints all the way around and make it a lion
April-  Make a basket and grass with the fingers and eggs with finger prints
May- make a whole flower garden with finger prints
June-I am still thinking about what to do here, maybe a polk a dotted tie since Fathers day is then
July make a handprint flag, the palm is blue and alternate between red and white finger prints
August-I can't remember what I did.

I think he would keep this forever.
