so, i've been looking at amy butler fabrics lately, but i'm not too fond of the prices. I was at the fab shop the other day and found this great deco fabric and its kind of like the amy butler prints, but this was only $1 a yard! woohoo!

here's what i fashioned out of it.

the felt applique i'm still a little unsure of. im just not certain i like it. there's a big pocket on the front and it snaps close. i'm still deciding on the purse closure, either a snap or funky button... hmmm  Huh

now, just what to do with it!!

thanks for peeking! Smiley

I rather like the appliques, also their being co-ordinated but different on each piece.  Great fabric find, great set!

Let's stick to regular Monopoly. The game is crazy enough as it is; how can an iron be a landlord?

you did a good job an the appliques, they're very pretty.  but the fabric is so busy that i don't think you really need them on there.  For the purse closure I'd say go for some sort of funky button.

Wow, great job!! I love the fabric as well. Did you use a pattern for these? If so, which one? Please share, I have some great fabric that I bought to make a handbag with, but I've been waiting for the right pattern to come along!
