Its actually my husband's costume from last Halloween...

He's Pan.

That Pan costume is totally awesome! I can't believe how realistic it is! We lazied/cheaped out on the Pan costume I made for a friend -- old fluffy coat from Value Village, and he didn't want to have hooves, so he just wore combat boots. Without the pipe, he wouldn't have been recognizable -- totally unlike this awesome one that I boogled over as soon as the pic loaded on the screen! I'm just in awe....

Smarmyclothes -- That Queen of Hearts outfit also totally rocks! Did you make all the items for it? The corset looks so well done!

I wish I could find a better picture, but last year I was Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction. I won a crapload of contests and had SOOOO much fun. Not pictured is the hair (I cut and dyed it black - from BLONDE) and even had a little smudge of white on my nose for the herion-thought-coke

aww, i wish i had a picture of my best costume; but i dropped my digital camera in a public toilet days before halloween.

so i'll describe it: i was a woman who had just had labor. i made a fetus out of marzipan and a candy placenta to share with my friends. i bought a hospital gown and covered the crotch area in fake blood then i attached a turkey baster to aquarium tubing and painted the tubing flesh colored (as i dont know the color of an actual umbilical cord) then i duct taped the turkey baster under my arm and let the tubing hang out the bottom of my gown. i had it squirting red kool aid out all night.

I have two that I think of as my personal best:

Chest burster from Alien. The back of the jumpsuit says "Nostromo".
That's awesome!  How did you make it?

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.

My husband and me a couple of years ago, dressed up for a Halloween night Bob Dylan concert.

My wizard costume is sort of run of the mill, but Jeff's werewolf costume was more interesting.  We just got faux fur and safety pinned it to the inside of some torn jeans and to the t-shirt he was wearing under the hawaiin shirt.  We found the hands in a store, but the hair and beard are real.  We just sprayed some streaks into it and teased it up a bit.

Last year we were Jesus and Mary Magdolin
The year before that we were Gregg Allman and Cher  (the costumes were lost on most people, but since our social circle is made of big Allman Brother's fans, they got it.)
I'll try to find pictures and post them.

This year, I'm going as a cow and Jeff is either going to be a glass of milk, a farmer or cheese...he hasn't decided yet.   Grin

FluffyVallieres,

You did not disappoint with that SailorMoon costume.  How did you do the boots?

This year I'm being The Bowler from Mystery Men.  I'll post pictures when it is done for everyone.  I just hope I can finish it before the party I am going to this weekend!
