First time poster, so be gentle!  I was a devil woman last year.  I cut up two dresses I got at the salvation army, sewed them together, added the riveting and ribbon, threw on some fishnets and boots...ta-da!

Science, knitting, ranting, and sex.  Not always in that order, and often all at once.

Look for me on ravelry!  Hey, that rhymed!

I have two that I think of as my personal best:

Chest burster from Alien. The back of the jumpsuit says "Nostromo".

The note reads:

    Martha,
    I'm sorry;
    I just couldn't
    stand another
    night of your
    casserole.

    Frank

Yes, the noose is attached to me, not the ceiling.

graymalkn: Oohhh! What a great face espression when you were the hanged man. Did you use wire to make the noose stick up like that?

I did this one about 2 years ago.  It took me about 2 weeks but ony because I was a lazy colloge student.  I used clothes hangers, electrical tape, floral wire, paper mache, and a few other sundry items.

Thanks. Yeah, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be! All I had to do was wind a coathanger along the groove of the rope and it slid right in. Easy as cake.

I wish I could find a better picture, but last year I was Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction. I won a crapload of contests and had SOOOO much fun. Not pictured is the hair (I cut and dyed it black - from BLONDE) and even had a little smudge of white on my nose for the herion-thought-coke
