I love, love, love Halloween.I finally have a partner in crime for all my crazy costume ideas. The first year we were together we were the king and queen of the prom night massacre..(reallly gorey...wish I could find pics)then we were Joey Ramone and Riff Randle from Rock and Roll high school.
Pictured here are Mr.Mint and Princess Lolly from Candyland and Pee-Wee and Miss Yvonne from Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

Holy Cow! White pants and t with spray painted black spots, store bought kids' fairy wings and small silver Christmas garland for a halo.

Leggo My Eggo. The look I was going for was 'electrocuted when I stuck a fork in the toaster'.

My son couldn't decide between Freddie or Jason, so there's a little bit of both. Store bought mask, hatchet and knife-gloves. The shirt and sweater came from Goodwill. He ripped the one and painted the stripes on the sweater. He won 2nd place at the Sonics' costume contest. That was the same year I wore the LeggoMyEggo costume above. I was the ONLY adult dressed up!!!

My friend as the Kiss of Death and me as a French Kiss. It might not have happened if we hadn't found BIG Christmas gift bags that were plain silver inside. We walked around giving out Hershey's Kisses. "Hi, would you like a French Kiss?"

Another year, I was a deviled egg. White shirt with yellow felt on front for 'yolk'. Devil horns, tail and pitchfork. No pic. It was a rush job.

A few years ago my husband decided he wanted to be a 6'6" umpa loompa.  Considering this was before I knew how to sew, I think we did pretty well.  The legs (which you can't see) bow out to the sides and then he had striped socks/stockings on too.  We actually had people come up and take pictures with him because Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was their favorite movie.  This was before the Johnny Depp version came out.

And of course we spent so much time on his costume that I had to go generic.
