Hockey skates baby booties w/ photo and *pattern*

The funny thing is that I am also in Calgary, and also knitting them for an Oilers fan in Edmonton Freaky... and I was also thinking about trying to put an oilers logo on the side but don't know how to go about it, subloke if you work something out please please share...

That's so funny! 
(We need to find something to make us laugh today, on this day of national mourning.  Perhaps I need to find something to think about other than hockey and knitting.)
I didn't come up with anything, but if I try helmet/toques I might try on them.  My brother said the boys wouldn't have worn them if there were C's on them...  haha.

Heh. It's funny that I saw these, because I was just planning on making little figure skate booties for my niece-to-be. Now I can just use this pattern and make the boots white. (I think the lack of toe-pick will not be noticed... though I could be fussy and figure out some way to make the toe-picks...) Thanks for the pattern! It's way cute.

litlnemo, I almost made a pair of white ones, but they are banned from my hockey home. Apearantly the hubs doesn't enjoy toe picks or ice skaters.  He grumbled something about leaving damn holes on the ice as he walked out of the room.

I'll start work on a helmet as soon as the knitting olympics are done.

Those are the most adorable things EVER.  And hanging off the mirror!  That's such a great idea.  Especially now that I know my team has clinched the division title...    (Carolina girl all the way.  )

i love these.. so cute.. and the babyb shower is tomorrow.. i hope they likey!!!
all i did to the pattern was make the blade alittle longer and knit it one row more...
