Aww everyone's look great!!

I ended up making these for my baby brother for christmas and wrapped them up along with a "I heart Team Canada" onesie and a Team Canada baby toque.  He looks absolutely adorable in them and my hockey-dad was ecstatic!!!  He took pics of them together in their Team Canada gear.

I am so happy that you girls are knitting these up!!! They look great! My kid has grown so fast that he only wore his a few times. Now he just pulls them off...how ungrateful is that??  Tongue

I am so happy to find this pattern! I had run across a company that makes crocheted hockey skates you can pick the colors - well, I ordered a pair with San Jose Sharks teal and they sent me a sage green pair Angry They said they probably won't be able to find the right color Cry I am a beginning knitter and these look easy enough for me to make. I'm so happy Cheesy

thank you *so* much for posting this ultra cool pattern! i knit these using some extra paton's merino that i had lying around and used size 7 dpns. i decided to go with 20 stitches for the skate and i love the result. i made them for a couple friend of mine who just had a son, and these are gonna be perfect for keeping his little feet warm during those COLD ottawa winter months!

I know this thread is rather old, but I just found it today. I play hockey on several teams, and some of our gals have recently announced they are pregnant (dang, down 2 skaters). Anyway. I instantly started searching patterns for booties as I had seen them before. On pinterest I found several examples of "full kits." One even included "gloves" with the skates, pants, socks, and helmet. I don't really knit much, but am going to give these a try anyway. If they don't work out, oh well, and I will move to plan B (a fast baby quilt).

Thank you for posting this and all the examples that followed!
