Thank you for your comments. I can take any and all comments . I just wanted to create something kind of simply just to see if I can do it.

The symbol stands for "LOVE"

that's actually the older version of the word. this is the modern one used today (hoping the pics appear, first time posting pics, and from paint too. )

lol. but its a hell lot easier to write when u have a 500 character compo to finish in 30 mins, trust me.

Those are good (regardless of whether or not they're your first bags)!  I'm still too wimpy to try :-/  I'm a horrible seamstress in general, but I suppose I'll never get better if I don't "practice!"  I love the second one too.

The character on your bag is what's called the "traditional" version of the character.
In the past few decades, mainland China has started writing Chinese using a simplified version.  Basically omits some "parts" of the characters to simplify things a bit.
The characters above all stand for "love," but what I find ironic is that the part missing in the simplified version is the character for "heart."  I have to admit I'm partial towards the traditional form, though, since that's what I grew up learning.  (plus i think in general, the characters are much prettier and whatnot).

Just thought I'd add my knowledge.
