Very adorable...looks just a real wiener dog!  nico-tiro, it looks good, without the eyes.  What it really needs, is a little doggie collar Grin

mooti- its ok to finish/... i had a little trouble matching up the legs and 'crotch' area. its not as easy as say, a pillowcase. but very managable.

next one i plan on making will be leather/vynil (like in the picture)
and i kinda wanna make it full on accessorized... like all the doggie link patts. in the links

thanks everybody! i still have  to take that daytime outdoor shot... maybe wearing a colar by then who knows!!

ps iciclegirl your pic is so funny!

I love your dog torso!   Cheesy

It is 150mill% cute!  You did an excellent job of putting it together.  I'm glad to see people using the patterns I posted!

I might eventually get around to making one for my niece - but, I think I want to make a kitschy 60-70's deer first.  I'm sure Sis-in-Law will be "thrilled" hehe! (my husband and I are the "odd" (read: kooky) ones out in the family!)

Yours turned out so well I was inspired to make one too!  Mine is canvas - it's for my son when he graduates from primary school.  He wanted an "autograph hound" like the ones you see in card shops that come with a permanent marker - you'd get your friends to sign the little doggy.  I think this pattern makes a nicer looking version.

(I forgot to sew in the circles for the feet, but that's okay because it still stands and uses up less stuffing that way).

I made another dog torso for a swap, but forgot to take pics.  Luckily, my swap partner did.  This one was made from a recycled shirt.  See the FO here
