I can't wait to see what everyone gets!
I've sent one out, I want it to be a suprise. I'm really worried it might smell like smoke a little bit cause there was a disaster in my house that morning- my roommate left eggs cooking on the stove and went to work. I didn't even think it might have affected the item I was sending. I was so frantic rushing to deal with the stove and then go to the post-office before work that I didn't even think of airing out what I was sending.
If it smells kind of funny it should air out fine and is washable, I just don't want my partner to think I'm sending them something dirty or anything.. it was just a crazy morning and by the time I realized things in the house smelled like smoke my package was already in the mail.
If it's really awful let me know and I'll send something else, but I really think it will be fine. Everything aired out really quickly.
Ok, it's kind of funny apologizing to a mystery person who may or may not be reading this, but I really want to get this out there.

Me: I'm worried X that I made and sent will smell like smoke.
Roommate: Just call them and tell them.
Me: Well I don't really know them
Roommate: Then why are you sending them a handmade X ?!

Sorry I've been absent! Can't wait to chill with you all again Smiley

Listen don't worry at all abt your stuff...it's gonna be great and i';am sure the person recieving it will love it as well. Abt the smell of smoke, like you said it's washable and shd air out fine! so take a chill pill and don't worry. It's anyways great that you guys are sending unconditionally! it'll be fine! Smiley

Also, I took my own advice and chose another person to craft for.  I had gotten myself "stuck," wanting to craft for someone who isn't receiving yet, but I haven't been able to find an un-taken person whose wishes I can fill (or at least, fill and do a good job of it).  So I went back and reviewed the "receiving one thing" people, and sure enough, there was one that I could do with flying colors.  So, here we go...!

As soon as I finish and send my first craft I am going to do the same thing.
