This is not your average mosaic...this is a mosaic made of skittles.

I just glued the skittles on with Tacky glue (but you need a LOT of glue, and you need to let it dry for at least a day to make sure they stick). I then covered the skittles with clear nail polish to keep bugs away. I love him! Parrots rock.  Wink

I saw something like this on TV where this guy as a result of his Obsessive-Compulsive disorder made a picture (can't remember of what, though) of M&M's.

Check THIS guy out-all his stuff is totally amazing but look what he does with candy!

And regarding OCD, I knew I had a problem as a kid when I would sort out all the M&M's or skittles and eat them until all colors were 'even' then eat one color at a time so none would be left out.

Wow!  If THAT"S a sign of OCD then I have (or had) it too.  I used to do the exact same thing with my M&Ms.  Maybe it's just a kid thing?

I think it's different if 'something bad will happen and the universe will spin out of control unless i eat these the right way' Wink

maybe it's just a kid thing but I do indeed have OCD and that was an early indicator according to one of my docs.

works in your favor for projects that need a lot of attention to detail, or are horribly tedious.....

I used to find that beadwork calmed me down when I was getting all manic-y, now, it's knitting.  Same repetition but bigger results!

Whoa...that guy with the candy has way too much time on his hands...and yet he's so cool. hehe

With the M&Ms thing... I dunno, I think everyone does that.

Me, on the other hand...OK, in literature class we play "vocab word bingo" (the teacher reads out the definition of a word and we put a marker on the word), and we use M&Ms for markers. It drives me crazy with OCDness (lol) because I have to use the colors in a certain order and they have to look nice on the board. HAHAH...

Isn't that dude amazing?

Did you see his Carol Channing silk flowers portrait?

http://www.jasonmecier.com/mcarol.html

he also did a few using yarn and felt......

Carol Channing is one of those rare forces of nature that simlutaneously attracts and repels.  And that's why she's the bomb.
