wow, I'm really thinking about buying one of these - I think they are one sale @ Michaels this week for around $8.99, so with the 50% off coupon...cheap to try!  Something to play with when my hands are tired of knitting.

I just started learning how to use the knifty knitter. To anyone who has never knitted but uses these looms: do you find the directions to be rather vague? If anyone knows of a site that shows the steps in photos I'd love you forever and always plus a day! ^_^' (Even if they just show how to make a scarf- since that's why I got the damned thing lol)

Check out page 2, I put a couple of links to different sites with instructions on them...check those out...thats pretty much all the instructions I could find for it...and yes the instructions are vague, I kinda just faked it...

I just got one yesterday.  I've never knitted but I'm hoping someone will get me lessons or a quality kit with good directions for Christmas.  I made cute sort-of scarf.
What the heck do you use the giant ones for?  All the directions seem to call for the smallest one.

Wow!! looks like everyone has been busy on the knifty knitters.. i work at Michael's & yesterday we had a huge yarn thing going on.. so i wore a straight knit boa scarf and a hat made on the KK.. i must have sold 20 of the KK on my own.. i have my kids making hats for everyone for Christmas.. i'm making a cowl neck hat/scarf for a gf for Xmas too... it's a lot of fun.. the giant ones can be used for a shawl, cowl neck scarf and a few other projects shown on the website..

How do you make flat panels on the round looms? I'm so confused!   Huh

Everytime I see one of those things, I so want to buy one.  Seriously, the last time I was at Hoby Lobby, I thought my head was going to explode - they sell so many of different kinds of them!   Now I think I'm just gonna have to buy the whole set of round ones.  Seeing that I seem to be sweater-impaired, I would love to try one on the KK.

you don't go all the way around with the pegs.. just to how wide you want it.. then you just go back & forth.. hope that helps..  Smiley
