Have you guys seen the "pocket knitter"? It was all the rage to try and find it last year in my KK swap group, and now they're pretty widely available.

Anyway, after getting a looking at one of them and then watching the new tutorial Isela Phelps did (http://www.isela.typepad.com/, I'm fairly sure you can duplicate the results on a basic wide toothed comb and a regular KK hook!

A Pocket Knitter? $9.99. A wide toothed comb? 99 cents.

I need to go and watch the video.... let us know if you try a comb

I saw this bracelet over on the Purling Sprite site, and fell in love.

And here is my first take on it. I've done two more since, but haven't downloaded the pictures yet.

Well ladies I'm knifty knitting! It only took a thunder storm and not being able to sew due to no surge protector on the sewing machine. I can now e-wrap and purl. I assume E-wrap is the same as knit? I'm trying my socks and seeing if I can make them with a k/p ribbing instead of the brim thing. I don't like the brim edge. I've got one row so far and working on the next one!

Its one way of doing the knit stitch. If you want to get technical I believe it has specifically been found to be the duplicate of the twisted knit stitch on the needles.

Sounds like your socks are coming along!  Cheesy
